If you’re a blogger, you know how important it is to have a space in which you feel comfortable and creative and inspired to write. Your space should be energizing and reflect the kind of person and blogger you are. Some bloggers like a calm, quiet, space for writing; others thrive in a space that that may look chaotic and messy but perfectly suits their style. Bloggers write in spacious home offices, nooks and crannies, outside by the pool, and in restaurants and cafes. The great thing about blogging is that you can do it anywhere you can take your laptop or tablet!
Earlier this year, I redecorated my home office. The office, untouched since I bought my condo five-and-a-half years ago, was a collection of old furniture and temporary solutions (and a large picture and window covering that I found out nobody liked!) I wanted my new space to be modern and chic and incorporate two love seats I inherited from my mom. I envisioned a place to write, read, watch TV, and display books, objets, photographs, and artwork that represent me and what I value. I also wanted a space to display some of my jewelry and accessories samples from Stella & Dot.
I got exactly what I wanted and more! Ariana Smetana of artVIA helped me update my space to reflect my personality and style, and I couldn’t be happier! I am working on a before and after post, but for now, here’s a picture I posted on a Tumblr site called Where Bloggers Blog:
