I love my job as a Stella & Dot Stylist. When I do trunk shows for my hostesses, I get to share the joy of Stella & Dot jewelry with her and her friends. Everyone always has a great time at trunk shows, sipping wine or coffee and playing with gorgeous jewelry, bags, wallets, and scarves, and I get to help each guest find just the right necklace, bracelet, or earrings for herself or someone else. I love the moment when a guest tries on a necklace that’s a little different from her usual style and then says, “Oh, my gosh! I never would have picked it, but now that I see it on, I love it!” Of course, her friends will ooh and ahh, and that small, joyful moment might be just what she needs to brighten her day.
After the trunk show, my customers can’t wait to receive their new jewelry, which comes in these adorable little boxes
and then they wear their new necklace/earrings/bracelet, receive lots of compliments, and dance walk the rest of the afternoon! (Okay, not really, but it’s always nice to receive a compliment!) The best part of my job is telling my hostesses how much free jewelry they earned from the trunk show sales and helping them choose the perfect pieces to add to their jewelry wardrobes.
My job as an Independent Stylist with Stella & Dot isn’t really about selling jewelry. It’s about the moment when someone finds a small brown box on her doorstep, opens it, and is delighted to see a cute Stella & Dot box inside. It’s about women getting together with friends and doing something just for themselves for a few hours. It’s about helping women feel beautiful and connected and loved and, well, joyful. It doesn’t get any better than this! 🙂
I love this video of some of my fellow stylists explaining why Stella & Dot brings them joy!
What brings you joy? When was the last time you did it? Go out there and grab all the joy you can – and then share it with everyone you meet!
