My mom, a two-time cancer survivor, was diagnosed with peritoneal cancer, which is so similar to ovarian cancer that doctors use the terms interchangeably, in December of 2010. She began treatment at the Clinical Center for Targeted Therapy at MD Anderson in March of 2011, and her disease has been stable for 28 months, a testament both to MD Anderson’s cutting-edge medicine and to my mom’s resiliency. She is literally making cancer history, and I am so grateful for the clinical trial that is making it possible for her to live and enjoy her life!
This weekend, Stella & Dot is teaming up with Super Saturday, an annual fundraiser in the Hamptons that brings fashion and celebrities together in the fight against ovarian cancer. Please join me in supporting this cause by purchasing a Tribute Bracelet (or two or three!) this weekend. Stella & Dot will donate the net proceeds from the sales of Tribute Bracelets June 27-29 (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday ONLY) to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.
There are two ways to shop: click this link to shop directly from this trunk show on my website on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday OR contact me to order. Remember – only sales from July 27-29 count toward Stella & Dot’s donation.
Thank you for supporting research that will enable thousands of women like my mom to live abundant, joyful lives!
